Press the 'Start' or 'Begin' button on the unit's front control pad and you will feel the monitor straps tighten around your wrist. The straps will automatically adjust to the appropriate tightness.

Wait until the straps release the air pressure, and a moment later the blood pressure will be displayed on screen. The systolic reading will be on top and the diastolic reading will be on the bottom.
